Co Main event:
Ryan McClain vs. Karl Knothe
Ryan is the current 205lb FCF Champion. The Bixby native trains out of Absolute Combat Alliance in Tulsa. He holds a professional record of 10-3. Ryan is a submission specialist with 9 of his 10 wins coming by submission is the 1st round, but Ryan’s skill doesn’t end with his submission ability, he is a truly well rounded mma fighter with knockout power and wrestling skills. Ryan is destined for greatness and looking to continue his winning streak.
Karl comes all the way from Minneapolis Minnesota, he trains out of the Ambition Training Academy and holds a professional record of 15-5 and is 2-0 as an amatuer. Karl has rarely gone the distance in his 22 fight career, he won his last 9 fights in the first round, most by submission and some by TKO. Ryan McClain has his work cut out for him in this match up, both fighters bring a strong submission game and the ability to end a fight. This has the makings of a human chess match or all out war! Someone’s win streak will be coming to an end January 16th.
Dave Heath vs. Isaiah Larson
Dave is the former 205lb FCF champion, but gave up his title in July 2006 after a win over another up and coming fighter Sean Salmon landed him a contract with the UFC. Dave has an mma record of 13-6 including fights on UFC 62, 70, 74 and 81 as well as Ultimate Fight Night 7. Dave also trains at Tulsa’s Absolute Combat Alliance. Always willing to stand and bang it out with his competition, Heath has incredibly quick hands for a light heavyweight and is well versed in wrestling and submissions making him a tough opponent for any fighter in his division.
