Brock Lesnar.s luck in 2011 is not the best like he wanted but at least the surgery to removed a foot of his large intestine was a complete sucess. The goal is for him to make his return to the UFC around 2012.While Brock Lesnar is making his recovery you may see him in up in comming films.Hollywood plans to make another Mad Max film with Brock Lesnar in it.I think Brock has a great future ahead of him if he can make it in the movie business.Like Dwayne Johnson "The Rock" in the WWE has many moves under his belt.Double dipping can be a good thing.

UFC 130 live results: Rampage Jackson vs. Matt Hamill, Frank Mir vs. Roy Nelson
UFC 130 takes place from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, headlined by a light-heavyweight bout between Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Matt Hamill. Additional pay-per-view bouts include Frank Mir vs. Roy Nelson, Jorge Santiago vs. Brian Stann and Rick Story vs. Thiago Alves.
Before the event, Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker formally announced Strikeforce's July 30 card from Chicago will be headlined by a 220-pound catchweight contest between Dan Henderson and Fedor Emelianenko. Additionally, the five prelim bouts from the show will be broadcast on HDNet in a two hour block, including Gesias Cavalcante vs. Justin Wilcox and K.J. Noons vs. Jorge Masvidal. Future Strikeforce Challengers events starting in July will all take place at the Pearl at the Palms in Las Vegas.
Quinton Jackson vs. Matt Hamill
Jackson is a former UFC light heavyweight champion and has fought many of the world's all time best fighters in Pride and the UFC. Hamill has a wrestling background and notable wins over Keith Jardine, Tito Ortiz and Mark Munoz. A deaf athlete, there is a movie coming out on his life and career. This was originally scheduled to be the semi-main event of this show, but a lightweight title bout between Frank Edgar and Gray Maynard was canceled due to injuries.
Round 1. Hamill lands a leg kick at the start of the fight. Hamill shoots for a takedown but Jackson defends and lands some big punches on Hamill for the effort. Jackson connects with a right hook that sends Hamill back. Hamill backs up Jackson with a pair of straight punches. Hamill moves in for a takedown and nearly gets caught with an uppercut in the process. Hamill goes for another takedown and this time eats a knee. Jackson is doing a good job creating significant disincentives for Hamill to try takedowns. Hamill goes for another takedown and again eats a big knee in response. Jackson gets Hamill against the cage and opens up with some power punches and a vicious knee to the body. Hamill is bleeding from the mouth. 10-9 Jackson.
Round 2. Jackson immediately goes back to work with power punches. Hamill again looks for a takedown but doesn't come close. Hamill tries again for the takedown. He doesn't get it but at least this time he is able to retain a clinch. Hamill keeps looking for the takedown and Jackson hammers him with knees and an uppercut. Hamill starts to go for a takedown but seems to think better of it two feet out and Jackson pushes forward with heavy punches in response. Hamill lands a jab and circles while Jackson pushes the action. Hamill goes for another takedown and receives an uppercut and hook this time in retaliation. Jackson connects with a hard hook but Hamill has a very good chin and appears in no danger. Jackson goes to the body with a pair of punches and then a couple knees to the body. 10-9 Jackson. The result of this fight seems inevitable by this point.
Round 3. Hamill looks for a superman punch at the onset. Hamill looks for the takedown but doesn't come close. Jackson lands a body punch and knee to the body and Hamill pushes him against the cage. Jackson connects with an elbow and hook that may have been his best punch of the fight. Hamill absorbed it without any trouble. He can take a punch. The crowd boos as the pace slows down. Jackson punishes Hamill with another knee to the body. He lands another big knee to the body moments later and opens up with additional punches to close the round. Hamill takes a knee as the round ends and someone throws a drink at the Octagon. Solid but unspectacular win for Jackson. 10-9 Jackson, 30-27 Jackson.
Winner: Quinton Jackson, unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27). The crowd boos the decision being read, clearly in reaction to not liking the fight as opposed to thinking Hamill won. Jackson says that he injured his hand. Jackson is now in line for a title shot against Jon Jones.

Will the UFC fall under the Pro Wrestlers Curse?
Macho Man Randy Salvage was just the latest victim to fall under the WWE curse many of the superstars from the WWE,ECW,WCW,TNA and others have died at a reasonable young age.Few ever live to old age or die of natural cause. Many of the Wrestlers seem to died of heart attacks or over use of staroids or by freak accidents. The average age of a Pro Wrestler is in there 40s.The UFC had some problems in 2009,A former Heavey weight Justin Eilers Who was shot and kill by his stepfather at a Christmas night party,In september Evan Tanner, 37,died from heat exposure on a camping trip in the dessert. He was a former UFC middleweight champion. We can not forget Mask CEO and founder of Tap out died of a accident in florida.
I dont think the UFC has to worry about the being in the same situration as the Pro wrestlers but you can never keep your gaurd down for a second as the UFC gets bigger and more people from other sports like Pro Wrestling,Football and others join the rick or people taking steroids, overdoing it or surcomming to the stress factor of being sucessful will come to play.
This is just my opinion but if trouble is there it is best to nip it in the bud early before it becomes a big problem.....

Rampage Jackson vs. Matt Hamill
Anton Gurevich: It's hard to pick against Rampage Jackson in this one. He's simply too powerful for Matt Hamill. Yes, Hamill is a great Wrestler, but Rampage is a decent wrestler himself, and will surely not allow "The Hammer" to take him down at will. My pick is Rampage Jackson via TKO in Round 2.
Joey Santosus: Rampage is capable of ending any fight with a single punch... Duly noted. However, short of that puncher's chance, I'm taking the underdog in this one. I expect Hamill to execute a solid, wrestling-heavy gameplan. Matt Hamill via Unanimous Decision.
Ryan Ventura: I may have said some things about Quinton Jackson in my last piece, but even with a Rampage giving 60-70% effort I believe he has what it takes to beat Matt Hamill. Matt Hamill is a strong guy, but relies too much on his wrestling for offense. Rampage via. 2nd round TKO.

Dana Whites Responce to 140
UFC President sets record straight regarding potential UFC vs. Strikeforce superfight
LAS VEGAS — In the wake of yesterday’s news that Nick Diaz decided to forgo a move to the boxing ring, speculation arose that the Strikeforce welterweight champion would be paired with his 170 pound counterpart from the UFC, Georges St. Pierre, possibly after a stint as opposing coaches on Season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter.
Earlier today, UFC President Dana White set the record straight regarding the two talented welterweights and the rumors swirling around them.
“That fight is not a done deal,” said White during an interview with HeavyMMA Tuesday afternoon in his Las Vegas office. “I guarantee you that those two will not be coaches. Not even close. All the stuff that’s out there about that meeting that we had here is bullshit.”
When asked if UFC 140, believed to be slated for December 10 in Montreal, would be the destination for the potential champion vs. champion clash, White flatly said, “No.”
HeavyMMA will continue to stay on top of all the news regarding the next season of The Ultimate Fighter, as well as what’s next for both St. Pierre and Diaz.

Something Interesting
UFC 129 was the biggest UFC event in history in terms of attendance, live gate ticket sales and marketing. The fight card featured welterweight champion and MMA superstar Georges St-Pierre, Jake Shields, Randy Couture, Lyoto Machida and Jose Aldo.
UFC 129 was the biggest UFC event in history in terms of attendance, live gate ticket sales and marketing. The fight card featured welterweight champion and MMA superstar Georges St-Pierre, Jake Shields, Randy Couture, Lyoto Machida and Jose Aldo.
It was a truly epic event that should have done huge numbers in the pay per view ratings as well. The strange thing is that it did not meet the expectations that were placed on it by the projections.
Dave Meltzer reported that the event was estimated to have done around 800-900,000 buys, which is short of the one million buy goal.
The numbers will likely have been skewed due to the fact the UFC now starts its pay per views at 9pm Eastern time as opposed to 10pm in the past.
The time change certainly had an effect on the number of people who bought the event. After a few months, the numbers will be more clearly defined, but until casual fans get used to the time change, the numbers will most likely stay a bit lower.
Even with the numbers being below expectations, UFC 129 did a great job of bringing the sport of MMA into the mainstream. The event used so many different media outlets that had not been previously utilized and it helped the sport crawl forward to dominance.
Bleacher Reports has great articals.Like this one.I still think a Silvia,Pierre would be the best paid per view ever come on Dana White,MAKE IT HAPPON!! for more info you can go to the bleacher reports website by clicking the title above...

MMA Knockout of the Day: Watch Kickboxer Get KO'd by Leaping 360 Roundhouse Kick
An older video has been resurfacing on message boards and websites around the internet, featuring a ridiculous leaping, spinning roundhouse kick to the face in a kickboxing fight.
The fight featured Evgenji Alekseev and Vadim Masljanka, who touched hands just one second into the video.
They circled around the center of the ring, but the fight ended just seconds later after the unbelievable kick lands flush, knocking out the victim who fell helplessly into the corner of the ring, completely unconscious.
Fans cheered as the referee tended to the downed fighter whose head rested on the bottom turnbuckle.
With the recent highlight reel UFC front-kick knockouts by Lyoto Machida and Anderson Silva, we may be seeing more of this unique, risky kind of striking in MMA.

Mocho Man Randy Savage Dies in a car Accendent
I know this is off topic a bit but we do talk about WWE Superstars who go into the UFC.Mocho Man Randy never did but he was a big time icon back in the 80s a long with Hulk Hogan and Rowdy Piper.Well he will be missed I wish his wife the very best here is a little more about Randy Savage...
TMZ spoke with Randy's brother, Lanny Poffo, who tells us the wrestling legend suffered a heart attack while he was behind the wheel around 9:25 AM ... and lost control of his vehicle.
Earlier this month, Savage celebrated his 1-year anniversary with his new wife Lynn.
Savage was 58.
Macho Man began wrestling in the WWF in 1985 and became a superstar with his trademark catchphrase "Ooooooh Yeaahhhhh." Savage was so popular, he became the spokesperson for Slim Jim in the mid '90s ... and became virtually synonymous with the brand.
UPDATE: Florida Highway Patrol tells TMZ ... Savage was driving his 2009 Jeep Wrangler when he veered across a concrete median ... through oncoming traffic ... and "collided head-on with a tree."
Savage was transported to Largo Medical center, where he died from his injuries.
Savage's wife was a passenger in the vehicle during the collision -- but survived with "minor injuries." She was transported to a different local hospital where she was treated. If you want to learn more then go to the TMZ Website by clicking the title above...

Brock Lesnar withdraws from UFC 131
Brock Lesnar is once again suffering from diverticulitis, and as a result, has withdrawn from his UFC 131 fight against Junior dos Santos on June 11.
Lesnar made the announcement on a UFC conference call on Thursday.
"I dodged a bullet about two years ago with diverticulitis, at that time not knowing what the problem was," Lesnar said. "Diverticulitis is an illness that never goes away. It's something that I've dealt with since my first occurrence and have been battling with it. It's just something that's in your colon for the rest of your life, and I've been able to maintain it to the point that it's tolerable. I was able to go through two training camps -- Shane Carwin and Cain Velasquez -- and made it through those camps without having a bout or any symptoms."
I got this artical from the msnbc Website I hope that he will be ok from whatever problems that he is dealing with to read the rest of this artical you can go to this website by clicking the title above...

UFC Fighting For our Troops
One thing I like about the UFC is that they have many events dedicated to the men and women who serve the arm forces.I have great respect for our service men and women.I know a little what it is like to be seperated from a love one because of me being married to a lovely vietnamese women until she is able to come to the U.S. I have to travel once a year to see her for around 1-3 months. This is bad for me but it is much worse for our military. The leave for over a year at times and they may go to a hostle place worried that they might not ever see them again. Also When I sold T-shirts at the PX in Fort Leonard Wood Missouri I hear first hand stories of the training they endure and the hardships they face.
The UFC is all about supporting our Troops here is a website that will show you what they do just go to the fighting for our troops website by clicking the title above...
One last thing is God bless the Armforces and wish them all a safe return home for those serving over seas!

Georges St. Pierre VS Anderson Silva.
I know I made a post earlier on this blog but champion vs champion I know they are in 2 different weight classes but in my opionion screw the weight class as skilled as both fighters are I dont the weight would play an effect. This fight would be a maga draw for the UFC organization. This will bring you back to the early days where 2 people with different skillz went at it until one was the victor.A Georges St. Pierre VS Anderson Silva match up is one match I would love to see and I am sure all of you want as well so Dana if you are reading this blog I would love for this match to take place.
I was reading the artical from the UFC Fight Info website if you want to read this artical and more then you can go to thes website by clicking the title above.....

Advice on being sued for showing UFC fights...
I just found out I'm being sued for showing a fight illegaly. The problem is I really didn't know I was doing it illegaly. I also found out that the satellite service I was paying for was a "personal" account, call me nieve but I didn't even think about there being a difference.
When I set up the account I called dish and told them I have a restaurant and want to set up sattelite, guy said ok and talked to me about the packages. Well I picked one and he said alright lets set you up when he asked for the name on the account I told him the restaurant name and he said do want it in that or your name and I said well that, and he said he would have to transfer me to someone else and I didnt want to go through that again so I asked whats the difference then if I use my name and he said nothing and we set it up. And when they came to our restaurant and set it up, nothing was said. I did't know any difference this was the first time I ever had a commercial place.
I found this artical from The Bar Nation if you want to read the rest of this artical and the comments then click the title above...

UFC Has New Insurance 4 There Fighters
This is a good thing I feel all fighters and wrestlers need to be protected in there organizations that they each represent.I know that Oboma wants to have Heathe Insurance for everybody but there is a conflict in how just should be achieved.I wonder does this push has anything to do with the UFC wanting to provide better insurance?Time will tell. The bleacher report website has an artical talking about the UFCs plans on the Insurance.here is a clip of the artical.....
Las Vegas, Nevada – Zuffa, LLC, owner of the Ultimate Fighting Championship® brand, announced today that nearly 350 UFC® and STRIKEFORCE® independent contractor athletes will now be eligible for customized accident insurance coverage. The coverage will be underwritten by Houston Casualty Insurance Company and complement existing event coverage the company already provides its athletes. Never before has a combat sports promoter provided coverage to nearly 350 athletes, and this unprecedented policy will cover accidental injuries suffered by athletes while training, as well as non-training incidents such as automobile accidents.
To date, Zuffa event-related insurance has always met or exceeded Athletic Commission requirements and has covered all injuries sustained during competition. After exploring the purchase of “training insurance” for its athletes for several years – much of which was met with difficulty in finding an insurance company willing to insure mixed martial artists – Zuffa officials were able to secure a comprehensive plan through A+ rated Houston Casualty.
The new policy adds 24-hour worldwide medical life insurance and dental coverage, as well as emergency medical evacuation. Zuffa will pay 100 percent of the premiums for its athletes and have an employee dedicated to handling and filing all claims.
“Our athletes are some of the very best in the world and we’ve committed significant financial resources to provide them with insurance that complements the gold standard we have set for event-related coverage,” UFC Chairman and CEO Lorenzo Fertitta said. “We’re pleased to provide coverage that enables our athletes to seek and receive treatment for injuries sustained while preparing for bouts.”
“As this sport continues to grow, we have been working hard to secure additional insurance coverage so that our athletes can perform at the highest levels,” UFC President Dana White said. “We’re proud to give our athletes access to this type of insurance.”

UFC versus the rest
This artical was brought to you by noller May 9th 2011
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has begun its domination in the world of combat sports, and looks to destroy any competitors that stand in their way. First on the list is World Wrestling Entertainment Inc (WWE).
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the world of pro-wrestling, it’s huge and has been for a long time. The WWE was founded in 1952 by Roderick James McMahon, grandfather of today’s owner, Vince McMahon.
Since that time it has evolved to become a heavyweight revenue raiser in the entertainment industry, peaking through its golden era of the mid ’80s when the first WrestleMania was held.
WrestleMania is the WWE’s premier annual event and gains the majority of their pay-per-view and ticket sales. WrestleMania III, in 1987, held the record for more than 20 years as the highest-attended indoor sports event in the world, with 93,173 fans.
The first one also drew over one million punters as Hulk Hogan and Mr T graced the stage.
UFC, on the other hand, is only celebrating its 10th anniversary and is the fastest-growing sport in the world, with a 106 per cent year-over-year increase in online interest according to a 2007 graph at compete.com.
In recent years we have seen the continuing growth and expansion of the UFC, as its mother company Zuffa (Italian for ‘fight’) aims to buy out every major fighter and league not only within North America, but around the world.
The Zuffa group, owned by Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta along with UFC President Dana White, bought the UFC in 2001 for US$2 million. Now it is estimated to be worth more than US$1 billion.
The UFC knows its market and has done exceptionally well to work with the New Jersey Athletic Control Board to enforce the Unified Rules of Mixed Martial Arts, in which confronting and real cage fights can occur. They have tailored the once brutal bar fight into a multi-million dollar mainstream sport.
So far the UFC has had 130 fight nights, with the majority of them occurring between 2006 and now. A large surge in popularity for the UFC came in 2009, as Dana White acquired the services of former WWE title holder and cult hero, Brock Lesnar.
Lesnar helped draw a record pay-per-view crowd for UFC 100 with more than 1.7 million viewers, compared to six months earlier where WrestleMania XXV only managed 960, 000 viewers.
Pay-per-view numbers plummeted for the WWE between 2008 and 2010, with WrestleMania XXIV attracting 1,058,000 buys, compared to WrestleMania XXVI, which peaked at poor 885, 000 viewers.
At the start of 2006 UFC 57 drew a pay-per-view crowd of 410 000, compared to UFC 66, less than 12 months later, which drew over one million viewers.
In the last 30 months, the UFC has had seven fights reaching more than on million pay-per-views, including UFC 100.
These staggering figures are just a small indication of the UFC’s rise to prominence, and an insight into UFC domination over the combat sport scene.
The writing is on the wall for the WWE franchise, and they know it. With an obvious decline in pay-per-view numbers for pro wrestling in the past four years, owner Vince McMahon brought in ex-WWE wrestler and Hollywood star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson as host of WrestleMania XXVII, to win back some of their die-hard fans.
The ensuing fights from the event have paved the way for a clash of WWE legends The Rock vs. John Cena at WrestleMania XXVIII, which is sure to gain back some old fans and should keep the pay-per-view numbers above the one million mark.
This recent spark in numbers has led World Wrestling Entertainment to announce pay-per-view buys are up 30 per cent in North America and up 15 per cent overseas in response to WrestleMania XXVII.
But surely WWE can’t expect old timers and retirees to continually return to the franchise for comebacks in order to push spectator numbers. Nothing lasts forever.
Both sports have built their production style around the hype and entertainment of following specific fighters, their styles and character. Whether it’s from the build-up at the weigh in to the announcement of fighters as the crowd goes wild ring-side, there is a similar pattern that’s hard to ignore.
It seems like fans are now starting to distinguish between real and fake.

Pride MMA Action
We cant forget about Pride one of the biggest MMA organizations around until the merge with the UFC and now they are part of the biggest organization in the world.I am glad that they let Pride do there own thing and not swollow them whole like the WEC Pride has a difffent approach. The rules are a little different then the UFC and there fighters does not fight in a cage. They fight in a ring.
Here is a thought for Dana White what if you make Pride and UFC come together in an ultimet fighting champion vs champion like they do in football the AFC vs NFC sounds crazy I know but I was just thinking out loud.

UFC 130: Frankie Edgar and The 10 Most Underappreciated Fighters in MMA Today
When lightweights Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard battle it out for the third time at UFC 130, not only the title will be on the line but respect will be as well.
It's something neither of them really get, but as they continue to fight and beat the best, it should gradually come.
Whether or not the 10 fighters on this list are at the top of their divisions, they deserve more respect than they probably get.
Some are UFC champions or have been UFC champions and others number one contenders and title challengers.
They all deserve more recognition for fighting the best and leaving their mark in mixed martial arts.

How I Got This Blog Started.
I was going through some hard times and needed some extra money I was searching the internet and found a website that say that using there program you can be on your way to freedom. They have coaches that will tell you step by step on how to make lots of money on thbe web and you will have your very own website.WOW I thought ok so to make a long story short and thousands of dollers I took the coarse and got there website
I first started with underwater UFOs then I change my mind and wrote about the history of wrestling. The problem that I had was It was hard to use the website when you are on dial up and after the coarse was over the coach never contacted me again
There customer service was good but for me the website was not easy like they said there formula was good but you need to have skillz on the computer and have good grammer and you all know that my grammer sucks.
The suggested to get a google account and open up a blog so I did I like pro wrestling but I also thought the UFC was really cool Mixed Martial arts action. The UFC offers the entertainment and Star value like WWE but the fights are real so I was good getting infomation together then it all started evolving.

MMA world reacts on Twitter to death of Bin Laden
This artical was written by By Steve Cofield
Twitter is essentially where the news of Osama Bin Laden's death broke. It's also where many Americans and folks around the world reacted. The immediacy of Twitter is amazing, but can also be dangerous. Here is a sampling of the reaction from some folks around the MMA world.Former Ultimate Fighter cast member Brad Tavares was lost when he started seeing Bin Laden trending. Inside a movie theater, he hadn't seen the news.
Cage Writter website has lots of videos on people from MMA and others on there thoughts on Osomas death it is odd that binladen and Hitler were both taken out on May 1st.

BIN LADEN IS DEAD!!
I know this is not a UFC post and has nothing to do with MMA but I want to give our military credit on a job well done. Many people died in 9/11 and this will give alkada and other terrist organizations a clear message not to mess with us. 9/11 was a sad day for us all and 5/1 ended with a happy ending here is the artical if you want to read it....
Minutes before the official White House news conference was supposed to convene, the word began leaking out over Twitter: Did the U.S. have Osama bin Laden’s dead body—the body of the man considered the mastermind behind al-Qaeda and the September 11th attacks—in possession? For several minutes, CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer danced around the topic, noting that this was probably something that had been in the works for “a very long time,” before Obama offered an official confirmation: Osama bin Laden had been killed by U.S. Special Forces.
On the eighth anniversary of George W. Bush's famous "Mission Accomplished" speech, President Obama was able to definitively say bin Laden was confirmed dead and U.S. forces were in possession of his body.
In a speech made just around 11:40, the president laid out the details of the events leading up to bin Laden's death. He first established a lead on bin Laden's whereabouts last August. Last week, he determined that there was enough intelligence to act. Said Obama, "The United States is not and never will be at war with Islam. Bin Laden was not a Muslim leader. He was a mass murderer of Muslims. His demise should be welcome to all."
I do not condone senceless killings but Ben Laden had it comming! for more infomtion you can go the Nymag website by clicking the title above...
